a day out with Yien Woon

Monday, June 22, 2009 Jojo 4 Comments

Taking two days off, a day for Yien Woon and a day for rest (work till overheat).

Yien Woon is back. Last Friday, we went back to our old school for the well-known ice-cream, at the same time, we visited our teachers. Our school didn't change much, canteen auntie is still the same, so as the staff in office, library and the ice cream shop and best of all, they all still remember my name and recognize me.

After school, we went to cinema and watched "Blood: The Last Vampire". Don't really like the ending.

Yien Woon ringing the bell, that's for primary school.

Last week went to mcD with Shing, they were out of chili again. Can’t really eat mcD without chili, real sux. After mcD we went Crystal Bowling for two games. One game cost RM5 excluding RM2.4 shoe rental. Each won a game, my second game was real terrible, always cuci longkang. It’s fun playing bowling once awhile.

iPhone 3G S

Wednesday, June 10, 2009 Jojo 6 Comments

Apple has announced its new iPhone two days ago at the WWDC 2009 event. It is called the iPhone 3G S, which stands for “Speed”. It is twice faster than the previous iPhone 3G. Again, it is still lack of video call camera at the front (I’m sure there must be some reason they don’t put on one). Previous 2.0MP camera has been to 3.0MP with auto focus and video recording. To focus an object, just give it a touch on the screen and the camera will focus on it. Another great feature they add on will be the Cut, copy, and paste, the iPhone 3G S can now cut, copy, and paste words and photos, even between applications. Other features include landscape view keyboard, voice control (like the new iPod Shuffle), built-in compass, spotlight search (search all of your contacts, email, calendars etc.), MMS (late summer working with AT&T), 7.2 Mbps HSDPA and Built-in Nike + iPod support. The Apple iPhone 3G S is available in the US at 19th June 2009 through AT&T. US$199 for 16GB and US$299 for 32GB. The previous iPhone 3G has been dropped to US$99 and it’s available now.
